Daniil Donchenko - Punahile Soriano: betting tip (cf 2.90) and bets on the fight

Punahile Soriano's move to welterweight turned out to be a decision that clearly benefited the American. In the new category, he began to look much more convincing, and his physical strength and wrestling base began to work even more effectively. Soriano made his debut in the 77 kg category in June 2024 and immediately gave Miguel Baeza an extremely unpleasant evening, winning by unanimous decision. The next fight turned out to be even more significant. Uros Medic lasted only 31 seconds, after which Soriano scored a swift knockout. This was followed by wins on points over Nikolai Veretennikov and Ramiz Brahimai. The last fight took place in February 2026, and again Soriano did exactly what was required of him: he did not get involved in a senseless adventure, but methodically took the necessary episodes and brought the matter to the decision of the judges.

At the same time, the American has a very serious sports school behind him. He was a state champion in wrestling and judo.  Soriano came to mixed martial arts thanks to his friend and current UFC fighter Dan Ige. It was he who invited Punahile to help professional MMA fighters with wrestling training. Soriano's own story has already begun.

The American has been leading a professional career since 2017. Before the UFC, he managed to perform in PFL and Titan FC, and made his debut in the world's largest organization back in 2019. Since then, Soriano has fought 11 fights under the auspices of the UFC. The 33-year-old fighter has 13 wins and four losses. He won seven victories by knockout, four by decision of the judges and two more by submission.

Soriano's main strength is wrestling, but it would be a serious mistake to consider him solely a grappler. He actively works in the stalls, is not limited to holding a position and is constantly looking for an opportunity to strike. At the same time, the very threat of moving down forces the opponent to think about protecting his legs, which means it frees up space for attacks in the stance. The fighter from Hawaii is physically strong, knows how to impose his pace and is able to force the opponent to work in an extremely uncomfortable mode.

Current form 

Daniil Donchenko is approaching this fight on an impressive streak. The Ukrainian won The Ultimate Fighter last year. In the final match, he stopped Rodrigo Cesinando by technical knockout in the first round. After that, Donchenko received another serious check in the UFC. His opponent was Alex Morono, but here, too, the Ukrainian looked confident and took the victory by unanimous decision. In the last fight, which took place in June, Donchenko again did not prolong the intrigue. Theodor Berggren held out until the second round, where the Ukrainian delivered a decisive kick to the head and then finished off his opponent.

Donchenko's path to the UFC began after a very successful period in the Naiza Fighting Championship. In 2024, he became the champion of this organization and managed to successfully defend the title. After that, he had the opportunity to go through TUF and get into the largest MMA league in the world. Now Donchenko is facing his third fight in the UFC.

The 25-year-old Ukrainian has 15 wins and two losses on his professional account. He ended fights with a knockout ten times, won three times by decision of the judges and forced the opponents to give up two more times. Donchenko's figures after three fights in the UFC attract special attention. The Ukrainian strikes an average of 8.07 significant blows per minute with an accuracy of 62%. At the same time, he misses only 2.8 significant strokes per minute, and his defense rate is an impressive 70%.
