Seok-Hyun Ko - Wellington Turman
The fighter of the Absolute Fighting Championship in the welterweight category, Seok Hyun Ko, will face Wellington Thurman on November 8. The fight will take place in Las Vegas (USA). Will the South Korean be able to succeed in the fight with the Brazilian? And what kind of bet to choose before this confrontation - we understand our betting tip

Command Analysis

Seok-Hyun Ko

Current form

Seok Hyun Ko's UFC debut was impressive. In June 2025, the South Korean confidently dealt with Oban Elliott, demonstrating that he knows how to work both in the rack and on the ground. However, the opponent's subsequent performances somewhat devalued that victory. Ko then passed Phil Rowe by unanimous decision, but lost to Jean-Paul Lebosnuyani in July. However, the latest defeat is hardly a reason for serious doubts: Lebosnuyani is a fighter with great potential. The 33-year-old Korean has 12 wins, five of which were by knockout and seven by submission. At the same time, he has only two defeats. Ko became the champion of Angel's Fighting Championship three times, although he failed to win the Double G FC title.

Wellington Turman

Current form

Wellington Thurman's situation is much less rosy. The Brazilian has not performed since December 2023. He was supposed to face Islam Dulatov in July, but the fight never took place. Thurman's UFC stats aren't impressive either: three wins against six losses. Among the most notable successes is an early victory over Misha Zirkunov and a split decision in the fight with Sam Alvi. But the Brazilian's last three performances ended unsuccessfully. He lost to Jared Gooden with a choke hold, and then lost on points to Randy Brown and Andre Petroski.  Thurman came to mixed martial arts through Thai boxing. The Brazilian started his amateur career at the age of 17, won five fights, and then turned professional. The 30-year-old fighter currently has 18 wins (four by knockout, eight by submission and six by decision) and eight defeats.

Tip and bets

TipTotal more than 1.5 rounds
1.46

The South Korean looks preferable in almost all components. He is disciplined, knows how to impose a fight and is not inclined to rush things. Thurman hasn't won in a long time, and his recent performances have left a lot of questions. It is significant that Randy Brown twice transferred the Brazilian to the stalls. Ko is quite capable of taking advantage of this circumstance. However, it is not worth waiting for an instant denouement. The Korean knows how to methodically sort out opponents, so a protracted duel looks like a likely scenario.
