Nikita Krylov - Abdul-Rahman Yahyaev: betting tip (cf 1.87) and bets on the fight

Command Analysis

Current form
Nikita Krylov is approaching the fight after a heavy defeat by Robert Whittaker in July. The Australian inflicted serious injuries on the Russian, and the fight ended with a technical knockout in the third round due to a jaw injury. The result is unpleasant, but something else is more alarming: in the last four meetings, Shakhtar has lost three times.
The only victory in this segment was a knockout of Modestas Bukauskas in the third round. But against Bogdan Guskov and Dominic Reyes, Krylov did not even last until the second round, losing to both ahead of schedule. Now the 34-year-old fighter has to prove that his career has not yet turned to the finish line. He ranks 15th in the UFC light heavyweight rankings. Krylov has 31 wins and 12 losses. He ended fights by knockout 13 times, forced opponents to give up 16 times, and won twice more by decision of the judges. The Russian is a former champion of Fight Nights Global and Gladiators FC, a master of sports of Ukraine in kyokushin karate and combat sambo.
Krylov is an experienced and cunning fighter. He knows how to transfer opponents to the stalls, masterfully conducts painful and suffocating techniques and is able to find a solution even in a difficult situation. His professional career began in 2012, and a year later he signed a contract with the UFC. However, his debut against Soa Palelei ended with a technical knockout defeat in the third round. Then both heavyweights quickly ran out of steam, and Krylov himself later explained this with excitement and a long flight.

Current form
Abdul-Rahman Yahyaev started performing in the UFC as if he decided to save the audience time. He forced his first opponent, Rafael Cerqueira, to surrender in just 33 seconds. It took a little more time for Brandson Ribeiro — three minutes, after which he capitulated to a chokehold from the back. And in the last match, Yahyaev knocked out Julius Walker in the eighth second.
Of course, three wins by themselves do not make a person a contender for the title. The level of opposition does not yet allow us to rush to loud conclusions. But the 25-year-old Turk has already shown that he is dangerous not only in the stand: his fighting skills and work in the stalls also deserve attention.
Before the UFC, Yahyaev managed to become the Khan Fight champion, and in July 2024 he won the Ares FC belt, defeating Polin Begai with a guillotine in the first round. Then he defended the title, forcing Jackie Jeanne to surrender with a backhand choke. In August 2025, the Turk received an invitation to the Dana White's Contender Series and took the chance: he defeated Rafael Cerqueira by strangulation in the first round. Yahyaev's statistics look convincing: ten wins, four knockouts, five submissions and only one decision from the judges. He has no defeats.
Tip and bets
Yahyaev has a heavy punch and high speed. For Krylov, who defends himself from significant blows from opponents only 48% of the time, this combination looks especially unpleasant. If the Turk seizes the initiative from the first seconds, the Russian will have to seek salvation in the struggle, where his experience can still be useful. However, it's also not worth turning Yahyaev into an invincible monster after three wins in the UFC. Krylov has been through a lot of trials and is able to take advantage of the mistakes of a young opponent. The only question is whether he will be able to survive the initial onslaught and impose his own scenario. The trouble for betting enthusiasts is that early termination here looks very likely, and the odds on the obvious options are not generous. Therefore, it is more reasonable to pay attention to the specific scenario of the duel. If Yahyaev is really as good as he seems now, he is unlikely to delay the meeting.
Our prediction is that Yahyaev will win in the first round in 1.87
