Assaf Chopurov - Colby Thicknesse: betting tip (cf 2.18) and betting on the fight

Command Analysis

Current form
Assaf Chopurov approaches his UFC debut in a completely different position. The Russian has not lost in professional mixed martial arts yet, and for the sake of an invitation to the strongest league in the world, he refused the UAE Warriors bantamweight championship title. In his corner is an experienced specialist, Hasanali Hasanaliev, and among his training partners is Chingiz Allazov, the champion and winner of the ONE and K-1 tournaments.
Chopurov is 24 years old, and in a relatively short time he managed to turn into one of the most interesting young fighters from the CIS countries. He has 11 wins without defeats in his record, with ten opponents unable to hold out until the final gong.
Assaf's path to martial arts began at the age of six with Greco-Roman wrestling. Later, freestyle wrestling and kudo were added to it. When Chopurov turned 16, Gasanaliev noticed him at a complex combat competition and offered to try his hand at MMA. The decision turned out to be successful: at the amateur level, Assaf twice became the champion of Russia and won the world championship.

Current form
Colby Thicknesse works under the leadership of Alexander Volkanovsky and has already fought three fights in the UFC. After an unsuccessful debut, the Australian managed to correct the impression of himself.: first, he lost to Alexander Topuria on points in February 2025, and then won two victories in a row. The judges' decisions in his favor were made after meetings with Vince Morales and Josias Musasa.
Before joining the world's leading organization, Thicknesse managed to become the champion of the Australian Hex Fight Series league. In the decisive match, he stopped Marvin Malunes with elbows, confirming that he was capable not only of methodically gaining points, but also of finishing fights ahead of schedule. It was his success on the regional stage that opened his way to the UFC. Colby is now 27 years old. He has nine wins to his credit, of which two were won by knockout, two by submission, and five by decision of the judges. The only defeat in his professional career so far remains a reminder that the path to the top is rarely a straight one.
Tip and bets
Chopurov's winning odds look tempting, but there is an important caveat here. In UAE Warriors, he really gave the impression of a fighter who was noticeably superior to his rivals. However, the UFC is a completely different story. Thicknesse already knows what high tempo, pressure and the need to make decisions against trained professionals means.
