Colorado vs St. Louis: prediction for the NHL game

Colorado have qualified for the playoffs from the first line in the Western Conference. The team has chalked up 116 in the regular season, however, their recent results leave much to be desired. The Avalanche lost their last four games in regulation time.

For example, the team suffered away defeats to Seattle (2:3), Edmonton (3:6), and Winnipeg (1:4), conceding 13 goals in total. Probably, Bednar's charges are already focused on the playoffs and pay no attention to the remaining games of the regular seasoon. Mikko Rantanen is the only major injury concern for Bednar. 

St. Louis are in the top-3 in the West. This month, the Blues are on fire - they have earned points in 16 games straight. After losing to Boston in overtime (2:3 ОТ), the team beat San Jose (3:1), Arizona (5:4 ОТ), and Anaheim (6:3). 

The Blues average four goals per game and convert 26,5% of their power play chances. Brayden Schenn has a minor injury, but the Canadian forward soon will return to the ranks.
