Toronto vs Montreal: prediction for the NHL game

Toronto are one of the leaders in the East and currently are occupying the 4th line in the standings. The Maple Leafs won six of their last seven games and clinched a point in the game against Florida, which they lost in overtime (6:7 OT).

Right after that defeat, the Maple Leafs beat Dallas (4:3 OT). Sheldon Keefe's men average over three goals per game, but they have problems on the defensive and concede a lot. 

Montreal sit bottom of the Eastern Conference table with 51 points to their name. The Canadiens are unlikely to strengthen their standings before the season ends. In the last three games, however, the team looked decent. The Canadiens snatched a win from Tampa (5:4 SO), and after losing to Ottawa (3:6), they beat New Jersey (7:4).

Montreal demonstrate an open brand of hockey and like to play on collision courses. They usually concede at least three goals per game on their travels, and celebrated success in regulation in just six away games.
