Gregg Popovich's men are still fighting for a play-off spot. They have chances to get there. Spurs are currently at the 12th spot in the Eastern Conference standings. They are only two games away from the 10th spot. 

But it won't be easy to overcome such a handicap. Spurs are too inconsistent now. They lost way too many matches recently. For example, they suffered defeats in four most recent matches. Spurs were defeated by Phoenix (110:115), Golden State (120:124) and Memphis (110:118). They recorded the only victory over Chicago (131:122).

Miami's results declined recently. Eric Spoelstra's men were defeated in each of three most recent matches. They suffered two defeats to Toronto (120:124 and 106:110) and also one defeat to Boston (92:122). After that Heat lost the top spot in the Eastern Conference. 

We should note that Florida team has problems with the squad once again. Kyle Lowry, Markieff Morris and K.Z. Okpala missed the previous game. They also won't be able to help out their team in the next match.
