Arizona vs Winnipeg: prediction for the NHL game

Arizona are the main outsider in the Western Conference. The teams has earned only 15 points since the start of the regular season. The Coyotes rarely interrupt their string of defeats, but just before the break they recorded a hard-fought victory over Anaheim (6:5 OT). This cheered them up a bit, but didn't chance the general situation.

In the last outing, the Coyotes lost to San Jose. They managed to level the score three minutes before the final siren, but the Sharks prevailed in the shootouts (7:8 SO). André Tourigny's charges don't do well at home, either: they won only 2 out of 13 home games this season.

Winnipeg are in 5th place in the Central Division and it will be incredibly difficult for them to reach the playoffs as the level of competition is very high. The team's results haven't been particularly impressive, and the Jets haven't won more than two games in a row for a long time.

That being said, the Jets won their last two matches. Before the break, they beat St. Louis (4:2), and a couple of days ago they got the upper hand over Vegas in overtime (5:4 OT), having come back from losing 0:2. The Jets usually earn points in away games - they lost only 5 out of 14 away matches in regulation this season.
