We managed to beat New Jersey (4:1), Nashville (3:2) and the Islanders (2:1), but in other meetings there were periodic problems with implementation. The return of Brady Tkachuk should add new opportunities to the offense, especially when playing near someone else's goal. However, even with strong forwards, the Canadians need to be more careful on the defensive. The last meeting showed well that a large number of own chances does not guarantee victory.

New Yorkers suffered an insulting defeat from Toronto with a score of 4:5. The meeting turned out to be very open, and the rivals regularly exchanged dangerous attacks. In the third period, Alexis Lafreniere restored equality, but 28 seconds before the siren, Troy Stecher brought victory to the Canadians. Adam Fox became one of the best hockey players of the Rangers, who recorded four assists. Mika Zibanejad also showed himself noticeably, scoring a goal and an assist. However, a good leadership game wasn't enough.

In the last four meetings, the Rangers have won only once. They managed to beat Anaheim 5-2, but before that the team lost heavily to New Jersey (1-7). The main difficulties are related to the defense, which does not always manage to cope with the rapid attacks of opponents. But the New Yorkers have quite strong performers ahead, capable of scoring several goals per match. If we manage to set up a game without the puck, the results will surely get better.
