Shokichi Iwata - Eric Badillo: betting tip (cf 1.62) and bets on the fight

In March, Shokichi Iwata stopped Tammanoon Niyomtrong ahead of schedule in the eighth round and won the WBC championship title. But earlier, the Japanese lost the WBO belt, losing by unanimous decision to Rene Santiago. Before that, Iwata confidently took the vacant WBO title, knocking out Jairo Noriega in the third round. Seven months later, he effectively dealt with Edwin Cano Hernandez, ending the fight in the seventh round.

The 30-year-old Japanese has been competing in the professional ring since 2018. During this time, he played 120 rounds, scored 16 wins with two losses, and won 13 times by knockout. The percentage of early wins is impressive — 81.2%, and Viktoriy Iwata scored the last seven exclusively by knockouts. His height is 163 cm. Over the years of his career, Iwata managed to become the champion of Japan, the owner of the OPBF and WBO Asia Pacific titles. His only defeats were in title fights against Jonathan Gonzalez and Rene Santiago.

Current form

Eric Badillo does not know defeats in the professional ring yet. The last time the Mexican entered the ring was in November last year, when he confidently outboxed former champion Alvin Soto, winning by unanimous decision after ten rounds. Like his rival, Badillo is 30 years old. He is a southpaw, with a record of 19 wins, eight of which ended by knockout. During his career, the Mexican has played 117 rounds, and his height is 165 cm. The arm span is not officially specified.

Unlike Iwata, Badillo relies not so much on striking power as on technique and competent work at a distance. His percentage of early wins is 42.1%, which is almost twice as low as the current champion.

In the last three matches, the Mexican has consistently reached the final gong, although before that he had completed a series of three early victories in a row. Last year, he won the WBC Silver belt by stopping Nader Valdez Aguilar by technical knockout in the fifth round. He also scored solid wins on points over Miguel Angel Herrera and Gerardo Zapata. It is worth noting that only eight of Badillo's nineteen rivals had a positive balance of wins and losses.
