Flagg himself scored 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists, plus four blocks — but it wasn't enough.

Klay Thompson became Dallas' top scorer with 24 points and seven accurate three—pointers, which made it possible to maintain the advantage. Despite the combative attitude and efforts of key players, the Mavericks continue to get bogged down in a series of setbacks: 15 defeats in the last 17 matches and a modest win-loss ratio of 21-41. The Western Conference does not expect leniency.
