Christian Walker and Yayner Diaz each hit a two-run home run, Carlos Correa added a pair of RBIs, and Jesus Sanchez, who had hit 29 times in a row before, suddenly had five hits, including four singles and a double. And, of course, Astros pitcher Jason Alexander — the guy worked his 5⅓ innings, conceding only two points. Bottom line: Houston improved its record to 70-58 and consolidated its lead in the AL West, coming off two games. The Texans are clearly serious.
