Salzburg vs Roma. Prediction and Betting Tips for UEFA Europa League

Salzburg were considered the main title favourite before the start of Austrian Bundesliga. Mattias Jaissle's team is meeting the expectations so far, standing 1st in the standings after 17 matches. The Bulls are six points ahead of 2nd-placed Sturm, while 3rd-placed LASK have a 12-point deficit. 

Salzburg earned a Europa League spot from the Champions League, where they played against Milan, Chelsea and Dinamo Zagreb. Red Bull failed to put up a fight to Milan and Chelsea, getting only one victory over Dinamo Zagreb in the third round. It was enough to beat the Croats for a 3rd place. As a result, team advanced into the Europa League playoffs. 

During the summer, Roma had a massive transfer campaign and hoped to fight for a Top-4 place in Serie A. Overall, Jose Mourinho's team is doing well - after 22 matches the Romans are at the 4th position in Serie A. However, team is only two points ahead of 6th-placed Lazio, so nothing is over for the Wolves. 

Roma got drawn into the Europa League group with Ludogorets, Betis and HJK. Wolves were considered clear favourites of the group, but they snatched the 2nd spot only in the final seconds of the last group stage match. Ludogorets had a chance to keep the Wolves outside of the playoffs, but Roma managed to beat the opponent by a 3:1 score.
