Aston Villa vs Leicester City: prediction for the English Premier League match

Since Unai Emery became the new manager for Aston Villa, the team has noticeably improved their performance. In the last outing, they secured a narrow victory over Southampton (1:0) - it was their fifth win under Emery. Only Arsenal got more points in the last seven rounds. If Villa can win on Saturday, they will overtake Chelsea and Liverpool and get into the top 10.

Experienced forward Danny Ings left the club in the winter transfer window, and it is yet unclear how that will affect the Lions' attack. After 20 matches, Aston Villa have 28 points from eight victories and four draws.

Digne, McGinn, Steer, and Diego Carlos, are all out injured. 

Leicester City, on the other hand, are in terrible form. Overall, this has been a nightmare of a season for the Foxes - they lost the most games and have picked the least points since after the World Cup. Last weekend, Leicester beat Walsall (1:0) in the 4th round of the FA Cup, but then Jamie Vardy suffered an injury in training. He will be out for a couple of weeks. 

The Foxes lost their last three away games in the Premier League, but at the same time, they scored in 15 out of 16 away matches. In 20 rounds of match, Leicester got 18 points, which puts them in 14th place in the table.

Vardy, Soumare, Pereira, Justin, Evans, and Bertrand have been ruled out of this fixture.
