USAAt the start of the season Celtics changed the head coach and under the management of Ime Udoka team got off to a slow start, but team managed to gain speed later on.
Boston earned a 2nd spot in the Eastern Conference standings and advanced into the playoffs, where they are facing the Brooklyn Nets in the first round. Series started a little rocky for the Celtics, but they eventually won the first match against the Nets (115:114). Jayson Tatum and co were trailing, but eventually hosts came back on track.

USANets were considered one of the main title contenders at the start of the season. Steve Nash had a brilliant line-up, but leaders were unable to find communication. James Harden had to leave the club, Kevin Durant got injured, Kyrie Irving was not available for home matches until recently.
Brooklyn fought until the end, but finished only 7th in the Eastern Conference standings. Team had to beat Cleveland (115:108) to get into the playoffs. Nets were drawn to Boston and were extremely close to a victory in the first match of the series (114:115). Despite a defeat, Nets gained some confidence.
