Barcelona vs Alaves. Predictions and Betting Tips for La Liga

Barcelona are still searching for their game and for the new leader of the team after Messi's departure to Paris. Catalan club got off to a bad start in the Champions League, only in the third round they managed to record their first victory, beating Dynamo Kyiv (1:0).

Thanks to that victory, team still has a chance to fight for a play-off spot. As for La Liga, Barca is looking no better than in the previous season, in which they also fell to the lower half of the table at one point, but eventually managed to climb back to the Top-3.

In ten rounds of the current season Sergi Barjuan's men recorded four victories and three draws, which brought them 15 points and a 9th spot in the standings. 

After a successful match against Valencia (3:1) Catalan club suffered two consecutive defeats - to Real Madrid (1:2) and Rayo Vallecano (0:1).

Araujo, Braithwaite, Wague, Dembele, Alba and Pedri won't play in the match against Alaves. 

In the previous season Alaves were fortunate to avoid relegation - team was in the dangerous zone until the final match, but eventually managed to keep their La Liga spot. 

During the summer club failed to strengthen the squad, so now they have almost the same squad as in the previous season. In first five rounds Basques suffered defeats and picked up their first points in a victory over the current champion, Atletico (1:0).

On October 18, Babazorros suffered a home defeat to Betis (0:1), then recorded two consecutive victories over Cadiz (2:0) and Elche (1:0). Those results brought nine points and a 16th spot in the standings. Team has a weak offensive line, they scored only five goals so far.

Pacheco won't help his team in the match against Barcelona.
