Raptors completely failed the previous season, though it was quite predictable after their sensational championship. Of course the crucial factor of that failure is their brief relocation away from Toronto.

During the off-season Washington made a number of changes. They apppointed Wes Unseld Jr. as a new head coach, Russell Westbrook was traded to Lakers for Kyle Kuzma, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Montrezl Harrell. Bradley Beal is still in the team, though many other clubs wanted to acquire him. Wizards put up a bad performance in the preseason matches, but regular season is a completely another story.
