Benfica vs Bayern. Predictions and Betting Tips for UEFA Champions League

Benfica started the Champions League in qualification, but Jorge Jesus' men experienced no problems in there. Eagles scored four goals in two matches against Spartak and conceded none. It was harder to play against PSV, but after a 2:1 home victory Benfica managed to keep a 0:0 draw in Eindhoven.

In the first match of the group stage Benfica was close to a defeat. Game against Dynamo Kyiv was not easy for Benfica and Ukrainian side even scored a goal at the end of the match, but it was disallowed due to offside - eventually game ended as a goalless draw. In the second round Benfica put up a surprise to the fans and recorded a 3;0 victory over Barcelona. 

Bayern, just like always, is one of the title contenders at the Champions League. During the summer Bavarians strengthened their defensive line, brought some young players into the squad, signed a creative midfielder Marcel Sabitzer and appointed one of the youngest and talented managers, Julian Nagelsmann.

Bayern got off to a confident start in the Champions League - in the first match German champion left no chance to Barcelona and recorded a 3:0 victory at Camp Nou. In the second round Bayern met no resistance in the match against Dynamo Kyiv - a 5:0 victory led Bayern to the top spot of the group with six points.
