Getafe vs Elche. Predictions and Betting Tips for La Liga

Getafe got off to a confident start in the previous season, but at the end they barely avoided relegation. In 38 rounds hosts recorded nine victories and 11 draws, they finished the season only four points ahead of relegation zone. 

Team started the new season with a new head coach, Michel Gonzalez. Club also signed a number of new players: Carles Alena from Barcelona for 5 million euros, Sandro Ramirez from Huesca for 1 million euros and Stefan Mitrovic from Strasbourg for 1 million.

Start of the new season turned out to be unsuccessful - Deep Blue Ones suffered three consecutive defeats in matches against Valencia (0:1), Sevilla (0:1) and Barcelona (1:2). Only in the third match team managed to score the first goal of the season. 

Vitolo, Jankto and Poveda, who has a knee injury, won't play in an upcoming match.

Elche barely avoided relegation in the previous season - two victories in two last matches of the season saved the team from going down to Segunda. In the previous season Valencian team recorded eight victories and 12 draws. 

During the summer team signed some new players - Boca Juniors midfielder Ivan Marcone for 4 million euros, Torino forward Lucas Boye for 2 million euros and Girona defender Johan Mojica for 1,2 million euros. 

Fran Escriba's side took off to a decent start of the season - a defeat to champion at home and two draws against Athletic (0:0) and Sevilla (1:1).
