In the off-season team appointed the 43-year old Roberto Moreno as the new head coach. Along with the Spanish manager club signed a defender Luis Abram from Velez Sarsfield, a Barcelona midfielder Monchu and Villarreal forward Carlos Bacca.

Fans are optimistic about the new season after victories over Linense (3:0), Malaga (3:1) and Linares (2:1) in the friendly matches.

Lozano, who has a leg injury, won't be able to play in an upcoming game.
