Kyle Nelson - Christian Perez: betting tip (cf 1.96) and bets on the fight

Command Analysis

Current form
Kyle Nelson's recent performances make us think about his resilience under serious pressure. In March, the Canadian didn't have time to really get into a fight with Terrance McKinney: already on the 24th second, he missed a kick to the head and lost by knockout. Earlier, Nelson faced Steve Garcia and was defeated by technical knockout in the first round, unable to withstand a hail of punches and elbows.
The confrontation with Matt Frevola turned out to be much more confusing. Initially, Nelson was awarded the victory by technical knockout, but then the decision was overturned, and the fight continued until the verdict of the judges. As a result, the Canadian was still stronger on points. The 35-year-old Nelson has 17 wins (six knockouts, four submission and seven judges' decisions) and seven defeats. He previously competed in RXF and Elite 1 MMA, where he won the featherweight championship belt.
The Canadian started practicing professional mixed martial arts after the amateur stage, where he won two victories with one defeat. He made his debut in the world's strongest league in 2018 at UFC 231. Coming out on short notice instead of Jesse Ronson, the Canadian faced Carlos Diego Ferreira and lost by technical knockout in the second round. At the same time, Nelson holds a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, which gives him additional opportunities on the ground floor.

Current form
Christian Perez got a ticket to the UFC thanks to his successful performance at the Contender Series in August. The Mexican dealt with Logan Paxton, ending the match with a technical knockout in the second round. However, in 2025, on the same show, Perez was defeated by Manoel Souza, who stopped him with punches in the third round. However, the opponent's level was high enough not to consider this failure a reason for serious doubts.
Before joining the Contender Series, the Mexican performed for a long time in Combate, where he joined as a teenager. Despite his impressive results, he never made it to the championship match in the organization. Now the 27-year-old fighter has a record of 15 wins (six knockouts, six submissions and three judges' decisions) and only two defeats.
Tip and bets
Nelson often turns his fights into a chaotic fight. Instead of acting prudently and using his strengths, the Canadian sometimes starts throwing punches with a flourish, as if trying to decide the outcome of the meeting with one powerful exchange. The problem is that he himself skips too much in this scenario. Perez looks like a dangerous opponent for this style. The Mexican knows how to attack hard, and Nelson's recent results do not inspire confidence in his ability to withstand the initial onslaught. At the same time, the Canadian needs to avoid open exchanges and, if possible, use Brazilian jiu-jitsu skills. Nelson averages 4.58 significant hits per minute. With such a defense, it is risky to count on a prolonged confrontation. Given the striking capabilities of both fighters and their tendency to end fights ahead of schedule, the most interesting option is to bet on a quick ending.
