Brendan Allen - Christian Leroy Duncan: betting tip (cf 3.25) and bets on the fight

Command Analysis

Current form
Brendan Allen, after an impressive eight-win streak, was defeated by Nassurdin Imavov on points in 2024, and then lost to Anthony Hernandez by unanimous decision. It was an unpleasant period for a fighter who had been steadily moving up the ranking ladder before. But Allen did not get stuck in the past and responded in the most correct way — by winning. Now the American has already won three fights in a row. In June, Allen went the full distance with Edman Shahbazian and took the victory by unanimous decision. Before that, he staged a real beating of Rainier de Ridder, forcing the referees to stop the fight after the fourth round. Even earlier, Allen defeated Marvin Vettori, and it was with this defeat that a rather unpleasant period in the Italian's career began.
Allen has been competing in professional MMA since 2015. Before the UFC, he managed to win the Legacy Fighting Alliance middleweight title, and the belt was submitted to him twice. In 2019, the fighter got the opportunity to enter the UFC through Dana White's Contender Series. There he met with Aaron Jeffery and did not leave his opponent time for long thoughts, ending the fight with a painful reception in the first round.
Allen came to martial arts early enough. He started practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu at the age of 13. Later, wrestling and boxing were added, and already in high school he began to compete in competitions. In 2015, Allen won the IMMAF Amateur middleweight World Championship and after that he finally turned professional. The 30-year-old fighter has 27 wins and seven losses. Six victories were won by knockout, 14 more by submission, seven times Allen won the fight by judicial decision. He holds the fourth position in the UFC rankings.

Current form
Christian Leroy Duncan is approaching a major career challenge with an even more impressive current series. After losing to Gregory Rodriguez in 2024, the Englishman never lost again and managed to win five fights in a row. However, this series did not begin in the most striking way: the meeting with Andrey Pulyaev turned out to be quite cautious and ended with a judicial decision. Then Duncan seemed to shift gears. In the fights with Eric Anders and Marco Tulio, he already acted much more aggressively and sent both rivals to the canvas ahead of schedule with roundhouse punches. Next, Duncan confidently dealt with Roman Dolidze, and in July of this year he took victory over Jared Cannonier.
The veteran was already far from the peak of his career, and Duncan managed to take advantage of this by fighting coolly enough. Five consecutive wins have lifted the Englishman to tenth place in the UFC rankings. Before joining the largest organization in the world, Duncan managed to become the Cage Warriors middleweight champion. In April 2022, he faced Jati Melan and won the belt by technical knockout in the third round. The Englishman made his first title defense a few months later against Marian Dimitrov and again did not bring the matter to a decision, stopping the opponent already in the opening five minutes.
Joining the UFC was the next step. He made his debut at UFC 286 in London in March 2023. The opponent was Dusko Todorovich, and the fight ended with Duncan's victory after the Serb's knee injury.
Tip and bets
We're betting on Allen. A lot of things here are based not so much on the question of who is more dangerous in individual episodes, but rather on who can better withstand the entire amount of work. Duncan is currently on a great run, but for the first time in his career, he will have to go through five rounds against an opponent who is able to make him work literally every second. Allen absolutely does not need to arrange a shootout with an Englishman in the center of the octagon. A more logical scenario is a gradual increase in pressure. The American can close the distance, pin Duncan to the net, force him to defend himself from transfers and constantly engage in physical combat. In the clinch, Allen's advantage may become especially noticeable, and if the fight moves to the stalls, the fourth ranking number will have even more opportunities. He has already been through serious checks and knows how to distribute forces over the entire distance.
Our prediction is that Allen will win on points in 3.25
