Ateba Gauthier - Roman Kopylov: betting tip (cf 1.39) and bets on the fight

Command Analysis

Current form
In the UFC, Atebe Gauthier has been going smoothly so far: five wins in five fights. Moreover, the Cameroonian does not just collect positive decisions from the judges, but regularly forces rivals to capitulate ahead of schedule. In May, he stopped Ozzy Diaz in the second round. Earlier, Gauthier went the full distance with Andrey Pulyaev and took the victory on points, and before that he finished Treston Vines and Robert Valentine.
Gauthier's professional record is 11 wins, nine of which were by knockout, and one loss. Moreover, the only loss took place by a split decision and still looks like a controversial episode of his career. It was the fight with Pulyaev that became an important test for Gauthier. Before that, he often dealt with opponents who found it difficult to withstand his pressure. In the three-round match, the Cameroonian had the opportunity to show whether he was able to maintain pace and concentration throughout the match. The answer was positive.
Gauthier came to martial arts relatively late. At the age of 18, he added sambo to his arsenal, and a year later, on the advice of his coach, he switched to MMA. At the amateur level, the Cameroonian managed to win silver at the African Sambo Championship in 2024 and win the UAE Youth Thai Boxing Championship. He began his professional career in 2021, performing in African and European promotions. And in September 2024, he received a ticket to the UFC, knocking out Yura Naito in the second round at Dana White's Contender Series.

Current form
Roman Kopylov will enter the octagon after defeating Marco Tulio, whom the Russian passed on points in May. But before that, the results were not so good for him: Kopylov lost to Gregory Rodriguez and Paulo Costa. Before that, however, he managed to have a bright winning streak, knocking out Chris Curtis with a high kick at the end of the fight and then defeating Cesar Almeida by split decision.
The main feature of Kopylov is the ability to withstand heavy fire contact. Tulio, Rodriguez and Almeida could not finish the Russian, although each of them regularly found a goal. Kopylov is really distinguished by his resilience. On average, Russians miss 5.08 significant hits per minute with a fairly modest 53% protection. In the duel with Rodriguez, he received 90 significant hits, and the opponent delivered 52% of his shots to the target. Costa scored 99 significant hits with 62% accuracy. At the same time, a significant part of the attacks fell not only on the head, but also on the body and legs.
Kopylov has been competing among professionals since 2016, having managed to become the champion of Fight Nights Global and then gain a foothold in the UFC. The 34-year-old Russian has 15 wins, 12 of which came by knockouts, as well as five defeats.

The two fighters have 21 early victories.
Tip and bets
The Cameroonian has already shown that he is able to work throughout all three rounds and not depend solely on a knockout punch. At the same time, his physical characteristics are particularly interesting here. Gauthier is about 10 cm taller than Kopylov, and the difference in arm span reaches 15 cm. This is a very serious resource for the middleweight category. Kopylov is used to finding opportunities at close range and taking a lot of punches, but against an opponent with such a size advantage, such tactics can be too costly. Gauthier is able to keep the Russian at long range, regularly throw punches and score points without unnecessarily getting involved in exchanges.
Our prediction is that Gaultier will win in 1.39
