Gable Steveson joined mixed martial arts only in 2025, but he didn't need much time to build up. The American quickly collected four wins in a row and still knows no defeats. The last time the 26-year-old American entered the cage was in July, when he dealt with Elisha Ellison in his debut UFC fight. It all ended in the first round with a technical knockout. At the collegiate level, he won the Big Ten title four times and became an All-American five times. In addition, the American has won three world championships among the age categories. Steveson's wrestling is not an additional skill, but the foundation of his entire sports career. Stevson's path in professional sports, however, was quite unusual. After his Olympic success, he signed a contract with WWE and performed there from 2021 to 2024. Then he tried to get into American football and signed an agreement with the Buffalo Bills, but it did not come to the start of the NFL season. As a result, Steveson finally settled on MMA.
