Before these defeats, Dolidze, however, managed to win three fights in a row. He confidently dealt with Marvin Vettori, defeated Anthony Smith, and finished the fight with Kevin Holland with a technical knockout in the first round. But there is a caveat here: Holland was injured, so it is difficult to consider it a full-fledged indicator of that victory.

In the last fight with Duncan, 38-year-old Dolidze did not look very convincing. He landed only 10 significant punches out of 34 attempts, meaning his accuracy was only 29 percent. However, the Georgian took the third round due to the transfer to the stalls and prolonged control of the opponent. Dolidze has 15 wins and five losses. He won eight times by knockout, four times by decision of the judges, and won three more by submission. In addition, the Georgian has serious experience in grappling: he became the ADCC champion in Asia and Oceania, won the FILA World grappling championship and owned the WWFC light heavyweight champion belt.
