In April 2026, Vicente Luca finally reminded why he was considered an extremely dangerous opponent. In the duel with Kelvin Gastelum, the Brazilian did not delay the showdown and already in the first round he scored a victory with a branded anaconda. This result made it possible to break an unpleasant series of two defeats. Before that, the Brazilian lost to Joel Alvarez by a judicial decision, and then suddenly found himself in his own trap — Kevin Holland defeated him with the same stranglehold that Luque himself uses with great success. 

34-year-old Luque has already had a lot of serious fights in the UFC, scoring 17 wins with eight losses. In total, the Brazilian's professional record totals 24 wins and 12 failures. He knocked out his opponents 11 times, and won ten more by submission. Before joining the UFC in 2015, Luque managed to perform in SMASH Fight, Jungle Fight and Shooto Brazil.

Treshon Gore also approaches the meeting after the victory. In April, the American met with Azamat Bekoev and managed to finish the fight in the third round. This time, his trademark guillotine worked. The victory turned out to be especially valuable, since Gore had left the octagon twice in a row as losers. He first lost to Rodolfo Vieira by unanimous decision, and then was defeated by Marco Tulio by knockout.

The mountain is 32 years old. The fighter has eight wins and four losses on his professional account. He won five of his victories by submission, two by knockouts, and got another one by decision of the judges. In the UFC, his stats are three wins with four losses. Before joining the largest organization in the world in 2022, the American competed in the National Fighting Championship.
