Joel Alvarez - Chidi Njokuani: betting tip (cf 1.27) and bets on the fight

Joel Alvarez is approaching his third appearance in the UFC welterweight division. The Spaniard moved up to this category last year and immediately defeated Vicente Luca by decision of the judges. Prior to that, Alvarez had scored a series of three early wins. He knocked out Drakkar Klose, then stopped Elvis Brener by technical knockout, and forced Mark Diakesi to surrender thanks to a choke hold.

However, in May, the Spaniard faced a serious test and lost to Yaroslav Amosov by submission in the second round. This defeat was his first since 2022. The 33-year-old Alvarez has 23 wins: five by knockouts, one by decision and 17 by submission. The Spaniard is also a former Ansgar Fighting League champion and holds a brown belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. 

Current form 

For Chidi Njokuani, the upcoming meeting is of particular importance. The American is coming to it after two defeats in a row. In February, he lost to Carlos Leal on the judges' notes, and before that he was defeated by Jake Matthews, having already surrendered in the first round. Njokuani's last success dates back to 2024. Then he stopped Eliza Zaleski dos Santos by technical knockout. Jeff Neal was originally supposed to be the opponent, but he withdrew about two weeks before the fight, and Njokuani had to rebuild.

The 37-year-old American has 25 wins: 15 by knockouts, nine by judges' decisions and one by submission. At the same time, he has 12 defeats. Njokuani has serious experience of performing outside the UFC: he fought in Bellator MMA, RFA and Legacy FC, and also held the Tachi Palace Fights title. Chidi Bang Bang is a Brazilian jiu—jitsu black belt holder.
