It wasn't an easy UFC debut for Said Izagakhmaev. In November 2025, the Russian fighter lost to Nicholas Dalby by split decision, suffering his first defeat after an impressive streak of five consecutive victories. Abubakar Vagaev approaches this fight in the status of a former champion of the Russian Absolute Championship Akhmat promotion. The representative of Grozny was able to win the belt in February 2025, when he defeated Albert Tumenov by unanimous decision after five rounds. Prior to that, Vagaev also managed to hold several notable fights in the ACA.
