Chase Hooper at one point looked like a fighter who had managed to come out of a difficult period of his career. In 2024, the American scored two bright victories in a row: first, he forced Vyacheslav Borshchev to surrender in the second round with a Brabo choke, and then in the opening five minutes he dealt with the experienced Clay Guida thanks to the elbow lever. After that, Hooper added another major success to the asset, defeating veteran Jim Miller on points. However, he failed to consolidate this rise. In the following meetings, the American faced problems twice.: He first lost to Alexander Hernandez by technical knockout in the first round, and then in March 2026 he was stopped by Lance Gibson Jr. after a series of knee strikes.

The 26-year-old Hooper has 17 wins and five losses. He has four wins by knockout, four by judges' decisions and nine early successes by receptions. The American has high-level performance experience, is a former champion of the Dominant Fighting Championships and Rumble on the Ridge, and also holds a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

Mitch Ramirez got the opportunity to play on the main UFC card, although his start in the organization turned out to be extremely unsuccessful. The American lost both of his first fights in the promotion and was out of the octagon for a long time. Ramirez's last fight took place a year ago, when Mike Davis knocked him out in the second round after a spectacular jumping knee and subsequent finishing. Before that, Mitch also suffered an early defeat, losing to Thiago Moises after a series of kicks in the third round. Setbacks followed him to the UFC: at the Contender Series, Ramirez was stopped by Carlos Prates in the second round. At the same time, we must not forget that the 33-year—old fighter has a positive experience - he has 11 wins in his record, five of which were achieved by knockout, three by judges' decisions and three more by submission.
