Asu Almabayev has already accumulated decent statistics in the UFC — six wins with one loss. But this defeat was a cold shower: the fight with Manel Capet in March 2025 ended with a knockout in the third round. However, after that, the Kazakhstani quickly returned to the game and gave two confident performances. First, he methodically dismantled Jose Ochoa, taking the victory by unanimous decision. And then, in a fight with Alex Perez, he showed character: yielding during the fight, he seized the moment and strangled his opponent with a guillotine in November 2025. Almabayev is one of the best takedowns in the division, both in number and accuracy. In total, the 32-year—old fighter has 23 wins - three by knockout, ten by decision and ten by submission with three defeats.

Charles Johnson is a fighter who is really hard to read.  His start in the UFC turned out to be uneven — two wins and four losses. But then a bright breakthrough followed: a series of four consecutive victories, including a resounding uppercut knockout against the reigning champion Joshua Wang. His career went on a sinusoid pattern: defeat by a decision of the judges from Ramazan Temirov, then a spectacular knockout of Loner Kavanagh, followed by a knockout defeat from Alex Perez. In March, Johnson managed to rehabilitate himself by taking a controversial but important split decision victory over Bruno Silva. His defense against transfers has noticeably tightened up, but it cannot be called ideal — the same Cody Durden once transferred him to the stalls 11 times. The 35-year-old American has 19 wins (seven by knockout, nine by decision and three by submission) and ten defeats.
