Jacobe Smith is going undefeated so far and looks like his career is developing strictly according to plan. He's already 2-0 in the UFC, except for his impressive performance in the Contender Series. In the octagon, he knocked out Preston Parsons, then caught Nico Price in pain. These are serious scalps for a young fighter.  He went through the Fury FC school, and this foundation is felt. Smith works coolly, without too much fuss.

In terms of numbers, he is almost perfect: 6.21 accurate strokes per minute with 66 percent accuracy, he misses only 2.86. 47 percent protection is working, but the main thing is his fight. 90 percent of successful takedowns, more than seven transfers in 15 minutes, and one hundred percent protection against retaliatory attempts. This is no longer just a prospect, it is an application. In his manner, he resembles a fighter who knows how to switch. If necessary, it beats, if necessary, it translates, if necessary, it suffocates. Versatility at the start of a career always inspires confidence.

Josiah Harrell is a story of a completely different nature. He signed up for the UFC on short notice against Jack Della Maddalena, but a medical examination revealed a serious problem that required surgery. The situation could have put an end to his career, but he returned. Since then, Harrell has only been winning. In his last fight, he dominated Bekmirza Dosmatov at the LFA tournament. So confident that the opponent's second threw away the towel. It was a tough, assertive performance, showing that he hadn't lost his aggression and self-belief. He's dangerous, motivated, and mentally tough. But Smith's level of opposition and style is a completely different test.
