Roman Yossi, one of the best attacking defenders in the world, is the undisputed leader in defense, who disperses counterattacks and leads the majority. 

He is accompanied by powerful and reliable partners: Jonas Siegenthaler, Janis Moser, Andrea Glauser and Michael Fora. The goalkeeper tandem of Leonardo Genoni and Akira Schmidt combines stability and potential, strengthening the image of a disciplined and tactically sound team. The Swiss have two Olympic bronze medals and have consistently reached the quarterfinals in recent decades. The current generation is able to raise the bar even higher and surprise the favorites.
