The team even managed to earn a winning streak of three matches in a row, in which they defeated Atlant (6:3), snatched away the hardest victory from Spartak Moscow Hockey Club (5:4 OT), and also easily coped with Dynamo Karelia in regular time (3:2). However, the club was unable to prolong the series of successful results. In the return match with Dynamo, there were difficulties with the implementation of attacking chances, which nevertheless led to a defeat with a score of 2:3. Stupintsev's gap from the playoff zone is still too serious and amounts to eight points.
