Current form

Cologne had a strong start to the season, scored a decent number of points, and scored several sensational victories. In many ways, due to this, the goats are not fighting for survival now, as they have created a solid handicap for themselves. In the future, their results clearly declined. So, after the break, we managed to score only four points in four matches, drawing with Heidenheim (2:2) and beating Mainz (2:1).

In the last round, Cologne played away against Freiburg and lost with a score of 1:2. The total goals in that meeting were scored in the opening 45 minutes. Current form

After the change of coach, Wolfsburg had a good run, managed to break away from the relegation zone. However, Daniel Bauer cannot consistently achieve success with his wards at a distance. As a result, after the winter break, we managed to score points only in matches against outright outsiders, St. Pauli (2:1) and Heidenheim (1:1). In the same period, there was a crushing defeat against Bayern with a score of 1:8.

In the previous round, Wolves played away from Mainz and lost with a score of 1:3. At the same time, after the first half, the score was 1-0 in favor of Bauer's team, but once again the defense failed. Literally within 15 minutes in the middle of the second half, the opponent scored three goals.

By the start of the 20th round, Wolfsburg is in 12th place with 19 points in the asset. The gap from the direct relegation zone is five points, obviously nothing is guaranteed yet, especially given the frequent problems in defense. The Wolves have already conceded 41 goals, more than only Heidenheim, which closes the standings.
