Current form

Borussia has a lot of experience in the Champions League, the bumblebees are well-equipped and certainly expected to finish in the top eight at the end of the league stage. Niko Kovacs' team started very confidently and scored seven points in the first three rounds – such a start left the fans in no doubt that Borussia was able to compete for a direct ticket to the 1/8 finals.

However, quite unexpectedly, Inter abruptly slowed down after such a start – an unsuccessful series began in Madrid, where the vice-champion of Italy lost 1-2 to Atletico, then at home the Kivu wards lost 0:1 to Liverpool. In the last round, Inter were probably counting on points at home against Arsenal, but a 1-3 defeat dropped Milan to 14th place in the table and it would be almost impossible to return to the top eight.

In Serie A, Inter was considered the main contender for the Scudetto before the start of the season, but the competition was initially expected to be very difficult. In the first round, the Neardzurri played a number of not-so-strong matches, but eventually took the lead from Milan and are currently five points ahead of it in the table, while Roma, Napoli and Juventus are also a threat.
