In the Champions League, Juventus kicked off with a home match against Borussia Dortmund, in which they staged a real thriller, managing to score two goals in added time and save a 4-4 draw, which in this scenario was a great success. A few days ago, the Bianconeri drew another draw with Villarreal and so far occupy only 23rd place in the table.

However, even without the Portuguese star, the Rossoneri made a great start, even despite the sensational 1-2 defeat by Cremonese in the first round. Milan washed away the shame of this fiasco in the next match, beating Lecce 2-0, after which they managed to snatch three points from Bologna (1-0).

In the away match against Udinese in the fourth round, which picked up excellent form at the start, Milan was not considered the undisputed favorite, but in the end it won very easily, shipping zebras three unanswered goals. In the last round, Milan showed very cool football in a duel against Napoli - a 2-1 victory allowed the Rossoneri to lead the standings with 12 points.
