Current form

This is not to say that Marseille's start to the season was a success. In three rounds played, the team lost two matches and managed to win one meeting. In the first round, Roberto de Derbi's team lost to Rennes with a minimum score (0:1). In the second round, there was a confident victory over Paris (5:2), and in the third match they lost to Lyon again with a minimum score (0:1).

In matches against stronger opponents, Marcel closes down and tries to play as the second number. It's completely different from how the team played last season. As you can see from the opening rounds, this style of play does not allow you to achieve positive results.

The home team's strong point remains playing with local fans. Since April 6, the team has not lost at home and has won seven of these nine matches, with at least two goals scored in each victorious encounter. It's great to play on your own field with an upcoming opponent. In the last five games, the team has consistently won, and in the last four it has scored at least three times per meeting.

Current form

Lorient has seen a lot in the three rounds he has played. In the first match, the team lost to Auxerre with a minimum score (0:1), then defeated Rennes with a crushing score (4:0), and in the final match was destroyed by Lille (1:7). Away matches are a weak link. In the last six away matches, Olivier Pantaloni's men have managed to win just once, with three defeats and two draws.

The main task for the head coach is to establish the game in the defensive line. In nine of the last ten matches, Lorient has missed at least once. During the offseason, several defensive line players appeared at the club, but they have not yet shown themselves in any way, and this, of course, does not inspire optimism for the upcoming match, because in the last five matches at this stadium the team lost, and in four with a difference of two or more goals.

There are several injured players in the team. Of the significant losses, it is worth noting Ajay and Toure, who will not be easy to replace. Even with their presence, the band would be considered a big underdog, but it's just huge.
