Current form

Few people could have expected that Spartak would start the pre-season training so unsuccessfully. In the opening match, the team faced a clear outsider in the person of Novokuznetsk Metallurgist and was defeated with a score of 2:3. Nevertheless, the Muscovites quickly recovered and rehabilitated themselves in the next match, defeating Torpedo (6:3).  The second-line forwards Pashin, Lockhart and Buruyanov showed a great game, scoring 11 goals in total.  However, it was not possible to show the same productive game in the duel with CSKA, and again had to concede (0:2).

Current form

Shanghai Dragons will be playing instead of Kunlun this season. The team has assembled a very interesting team. Rybar and Kareev will be the main goalkeepers in the goal line, while Tikhomirov will remain on the sidelines. The key figure in the defense will be a defender who played in both the AHL and the NHL, Bischoff. The attacking line looks the most optimistic. The main star could be striker Quinny, who recently played in the AHL, where he showed excellent performance. Russian strikers Spooner, Rendulic and Merkley will help him realize the attacking potential of the club. It is impossible not to mention Burmistrov and Sutter, a two—time winner of the Calder Cup.
