PSG has made a spectacular start to the new season, defeating English Tottenham in a dramatic match for the UEFA Super Cup. In that meeting, Luis Enrique's team lost 0-2, but they were able to equalize in stoppage time, and then they were luckier on the 11-meter field.

The first round of the national championship started well for Parisians. It wasn't easy, but we managed to beat Nantes on the road with a minimum score (1-0). In defense, we can say that from the first minutes a semi-reserve squad appeared on the field, but even in the second half, when the stars came out, the opponent's hard pressure did not lead to the desired result, and the only goal ricocheted off the leg of the opponent's defender. Now we have to play on our own field, and the opponent is fully prepared to win confidently, and maybe even arrange a rout. The next few rounds will be with low-class teams, so PSG has a great chance to break into the lead from the very beginning of the season.

It is impossible not to mention the new players in the squad. Apparently, Luc Chevalier, whom the club's management acquired from Lille, will now be the main goalkeeper. Ilya Zabarny, a promising defender, also appeared. Luis Enrique will find a place for him on the pitch. It's a shame that Matvey Safonov was never able to become PSG's number 1 goalkeeper, but the 26-year-old goalkeeper is in no hurry to leave the club's location.

Kimpembe will miss the match due to illness, and Mayulu is injured. By the coach's decision, Donnarumma will not enter the goal.

Angers, frankly speaking, survived last season by gnawing points and constantly living somewhere near the relegation zone. Despite this, Alexandre Dujo's team had a fruitful preparatory campaign and were able to win four times in six friendly matches, and a draw and a defeat were recorded in one match.

In the first round of the national championship, Angers faced the newcomer of Ligue 1— Paris. The opponent spent almost 50 million euros to sign the players, but the guests of the upcoming match were not confused, and they were able to defeat the opponent with a minimum score of 1:0. Repeating this achievement, or at least not losing away from PSG, will be a difficult task, and many analysts are inclined to believe that it is even impossible.

The club has no problems with the starting line-up. Mouton and Bilkebla will not be able to appear on the field, but it will not be difficult for the head coach to find a replacement for these players. The statistics of performances with PSG, of course, are not impressive. For more than 15 matches in a row, Angers has exclusively lost to Parisians.
