Calgary - Anaheim: NHL match betting tip
Calgary returns home after a bad trip. On April 4, Ryan Husky's team will try to beat the guests from California, who have already lost their real chances of reaching the playoffs. The Canadians intend to fight to reach the final of the tournament until the end, but so far they are only in ninth position in the West and have no right to make mistakes. Will you be able to beat the ducks? Look for the answer in the betting tip for the meeting

Command Analysis

Calgary Flames

Current form
The Flames are in ninth place in the conference and continue to fight for the playoffs. Calgary scored 82 points in 74 games and has an advantage over its competitors. The Canadians are seven points behind St. Louis, but the Blues have played two more games. Ryan Husky's team has been among the clubs competing for the finals of the tournament throughout the season, but they have failed to gain a foothold in the top eight. The Lights made a good move and won four meetings in a row at the end of March, but then abruptly slowed down. On the road, they lost to Edmonton (2:3, OT) and Utah (1:3), but beat Colorado (3:2, B).
The hosts have added some points in terms of implementation. They have scored at least two goals per game for ten consecutive games, while Calgary has scored only five goals in the last three starts. Jonathan Huberdeau has lost his form and has not scored points for three games in a row. He scored 58 points (27+31) in the goal+pass system, exactly the same for Nazem Kadri (30+28).
Disqualifications and injuries
Connor Zari, Justin Kirkland and Anthony Manta will not be able to play against Anaheim.
Interesting betting trends
- Calgary throws 29 times per game on average
- Canadians earn 9.23 penalty minutes per match

Anaheim Ducks

Current form
Anaheim finishes the season in 12th place in the conference and is no longer eligible for the playoffs. The team from California earned 74 points in 74 starts and looked pretty good in the segments. Greg Cronin's men played pretty well defensively, but they often lacked sharpness offensively. In the second half of March, the Ducks showed a good level of hockey. They played a long series of matches on their ice and beat Boston (6:2), Rangers (5:4, OT) and San Jose (4:3, B), losing only to Toronto (2:3).
The Ducks have been doing well up front lately and scoring quite a lot. In the last six games, they scored 21 goals and created a lot of dangerous chances and other people's goals. Troy Terry is the only player in the club's top 100 scorers in the league. The American scored 51 points (19+32) and regularly assists his teammates.
Disqualifications and injuries
Brock McGinn, Tomasz Suchanek, Ross Johnston and Robbie Fabbri will not come to Canada with the team.
Interesting betting trends
- Anaheim blocks 14 shots per match
- Ducks make 27 shots on average per match

1.40Tip and bets
Calgary slowed down at the end of March and did not show a confident game. The Canadians stopped scoring a lot and didn't always act reliably in their own half of the court. The Ducks have already lost motivation for the rest of the season and are finishing the regular season without undue pressure. The team from California is in good shape and was beating pretty strong teams at the end of last month. In this regular season, the Flames were twice stronger than their opponents, but now the ducks may well cling to the result. We think they won't lose in regular time.
Our betting tip is that Anaheim will not lose in 1.77
Betting on an individual total
Anaheim was very good up front in the second half of March and often scored in large numbers. In the last six starts alone, Greg Cronin's team scored 21 accurate shots. Calgary is very good at defending at home, but the visitors have nothing to lose and they will go ahead from the first seconds. We believe that the Flames will be able to score at least three goals.
Betting Tip - Anaheim's individual total is over 2.5 goals in 1.87
Bet on the total
The Canadians are playing defensively, but now a team that has no tournament motivation is coming to visit them. The Ducks may well open up the game and force Calgary to go ahead, because the Lights essentially have no room for error. Ryan Husky's team must cope with the rather weak defense of the hosts, so we'll bet on a total of more goals.
Betting Tip - total more than 5.5 goals in 1.78
