The Mexican defeated American Xavier Franklin (unanimous decision) in October 2024 as part of Dana White's Contender Series and got a chance to make his UFC debut in a duel with Simon Oliveira.

He hasn't had a single title fight in his career. And in 2021, he received an invitation to the Dana White League. As part of Dana White's Contender Series, Mexican Jose Alday won (split). But I lost the other two fights.

In the latter, in January 2023, Daniel Marcos lost (knockout, second round) from Peru, and before that to American Tony Graveli (unanimous decision).
