Nazim Sadikhov made his professional mixed martial arts debut in 2018 and performed in the Ring of Combat, Cage Fury FC and Fury FC promotions. In 2022, in the Dana White Challenger Series, he knocked out Ahmad Hasanzada (third round) and received a contract with the UFC. In February of the following year, the Azerbaijani fighter fought his first UFC fight, defeating Evan Elder by technical knockout (third round). In July of the same year, he defeated Terrence McKinney with a choke hold (second round). In November 2023, he met Vyacheslav Borshchev, and the fight ended in a draw. However, the spectacular confrontation was recognized as the best match of the evening.

In the summer of 2024, Sadikhov was scheduled to fight Chris Duncan at UFC on ESPN 59, but his opponent withdrew due to illness. Markel Mederos was later appointed as a replacement, but his contract was terminated. The 30-year-old Nazim has nine wins (five by knockout, two by decision, two by submission) and one defeat.
