"I've left no stone unturned and trained hard for this. I'm going to go out there, I'm going to have 25 minutes with him. I'm going to try to take his head off, I've taken every skill into account for this fight." He added: “Once he steps in the Octagon with me, he’s going to be in the deep end. He’s already in the waters where I want him to be. It’s different because I’ve never been outright unloved, but you know what, it didn’t affect me three months ago in Saudi Arabia, and I don’t expect it to affect me much in this fight. Khamzat Chimaev remains undefeated in White promotion and in his last fight in October 2023, he won a convincing victory over former middleweight champion Kamaru Usman (majority decision) from Nigeria. Borz is ranked 12th in the division with 13 wins (five by knockout, two by decision, six by submission). In freestyle wrestling, Chimaev is a three-time Swedish champion.
