Robert Whittaker is a former Dana White Middleweight Champion and the first Australian to win a UFC title. He is ranked third in the middleweight rankings. The Green Continent fighter has been competing professionally in mixed martial arts since 2009 and was a contestant on the first season of The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes, where he won the welterweight tournament.
The Reaper became the interim middleweight champion after winning the title at UFC 213; he was elevated to undisputed champion after Canadian Georges St-Pierre vacated the title in 2017.
