After the break, Stefano Pioli's team had another disappointing run of form and lost any chance of winning the title. Currently, AC Milan are in third place with 47 points, level on points with the second-placed Inter Milan. In the last round, the Rossoneri beat Atalanta 2-0, securing their third consecutive win.
