RB Leipzig vs Manchester City. Prediction and Betting Tips for 2022-23 UEFA Champions League (February 22, 2023).

RB Leipzig's Champions League group wan't too difficult - their opponents were Real Madrid, Shakhtar Donetsk, and Celtic. They didn't count on winning the group, since Real were the strong favourites, but Leipzig were expected to qualify easily. They did encounter some problems, but nevertheless got a ticket to the playoffs.

In the Bundesliga, Marco Rose's team had a slow start to the season. They had little success in Autumn and allowed competitors to take the lead. However, the Bulls managed to narrow the gap and now are in 5th place in the standings with 39 points. In theory, Leipzig still have a chance to win the title - they are only four points behind current leader Bayern Munich. 

Unlike the home team, Manchester City were considered a clear favorite in their Champions League group. Pep Guardiola's team won the group with Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla, and Copenhagen. They were ubeaten in all six games and collected 14 points. 

Their Premier League campaign isn't going as smoothly. Arsenal's impressive and consistent play in the first half of the season allowed the Gunners to take the lead. In recent meeting between the two title contenders, Man City beat Arsenal (3-1), which allowed the Sky-BLues to narrow the gap. Now they are second in the table and are trailing the leader by only two points.
