Inter Milan vs Udinese: prediction for the Serie A match

Inter Milan weren't at their best in the first half of the season. Simone Inzaghi's team faced difficulties in autumn and endured a long winless streak. That allowed Napoli to secure the top line and get a 15-points lead. Inter were the only team to beat Napoli this season, but that didn't realy help. Currently, the Nerazzurri are in second place in the table with 44 points. The sixth-placed Lazio are only five points behind. In the last round, Inter failed to beat Sampdoria away - a goalless draw ended a streak of two consecutive wins.

Udinese are having a decent season overall, but their fans probably feel that the team is capable of much more. In the first half of the season, Andrea Sottil's side briefly stayed in the Champions League zone, but they soon dropped out. The team is inconsistent, and too many key players are injured, which obviously affects the overall performance. Right now, Udinese are 8th in the table, nine points behind Lazio and the European competition zone.
