Juventus had a terrible start to the season. They didn't qualify from their Champions League group and couldn't get into the title race in Serie A for a very long time. Just before the winter break, Massimiliano Allegri's men enjoyed a fantastic run of form and got into the top four, but after the break, Juve were crushed by Napoli (1:5) and then got penalised for false accounting. The Old Lady lost 15 points and dropped to the bottom half of the table. After a high-scoring draw with Atalanta (3:3), Allegri's side lost to Monza (0:2). Currently, the team is in 13th place in the Serie A standings. 

Lazio, too, had some problems at the start of the season, but nothing as dramatic as Juventus'. Maurizio Sarri managed to steady the ship and get into the European club competition zone. The Eagles are consistent and confident even in games against stronger opponents. At the moment, Lazio are in 3rd place in the table with 38 points, trailing AC Milan by two points. Napoli will be hard to catch up with, but Sarri's men surely can put more pressure on the Rossoneri. In the last game, Lazio got a draw against Fiorentina (1:1) at home.
