Khachanov vs Tsitsipas: prediction for the Australian Open match

Karen Khachanov made it to the second consecutive Grand Slam semifinal. Last year, he reached the last four at the US Open. After defeating Bernabe Zapata Miralles, Jason Kubler, Frances Tiafoe, and Yoshihito Nishioka in the first rounds of the current major, the Russian athlete celebrated success over Sebastian Korda. Korda lost the first two sets and then withdrew from the match due to a wrist injury. 

Stefanos Tsitsipas defended his 2021 Australian Open result. This is his third Melbourne Major semifinal in a row. To reach the last four, the Greek tennis player defeated Jiri Lehecka in the quarterfinals. Before that, he overcame Quentin Halys, Rinky Hijikata, Tallor Griekspoor, and Jannik Sinner. To beat Sinner, Tsitsipas needed five sets.
