Poland vs Argentina. Prediction and Betting Tips for 2022 World Cup

Poland national team wasn't considered a favourite in the group with Argentina and Mexico. However, in the first match against Mexico Czeslaw Michniewicz' men put up a strong performance and picked up one point. Robert Lewandowski had a chance to score a penalty, but failed to so. 

That result left the Poles in a precarious position ahead of the second match. They needed only a victory. The White Eagles managed to score in the first half and to withheld the opponent's pressure. Saudi Arabia also failed to score a penalty. In the second half Poland switched to counter-attacks and managed to score the second goal, while Wojciech Szczesny kept a clean sheet. 

Argentina national team was considered the main favourite of the group before the start of the tournament, but suffered a shocking defeat in the first match. Lionel Scaloni's side won the first half against Saudi Arabia, but conceded twice in the second one. Team tried desperately to score the equalizer, but the Falcons kept the lead. 

After that result, team needed only a victory in the second match. A defeat to Mexico would've send the Albiceleste out of the tournament. It was a close contest, but Lionel Messi eventually managed to break the deadlock. Enzo Fernandez finished off the Mexicans at the final minutes of the game and Albiceleste took the three points.
