England vs Iran: prediction for the World Cup match

Teams never faced each other before and brace themselves for the first ever head-to-head outing. England is a much better team than Iran right now. Persian side is dominating in their region, but it will be hard for them to compete against the best teams in the world. 

The Three Lions failed to impress in the Nations League, so it is extremely important for them to begin the World Cup with a victory, which will help them to raise the morale condition. Team Melli might be able to avoid a blowout, but England have much better players and should prevail over the opponent.

It won't be an easy walk for England though. Iran have a strong defensive line, they will try to find their chance in counter-attacks. Asian team has some fast players in the offensive line, so the Three Lions should be careful at the back. 

But the British side needs three points, so they will surely be active in front of opponent's box. Nominal hosts should be able to break through opponent's defense and score at least twice.
